During acupuncture
Your practitioner will lead you to a private
acupuncture treatment room. Your health history will be reviewed and discussed. Then you will lie down on a comfortable table.
The best acupuncture points for your treatment will be chosen and sterile single-use acupuncture needles inserted. The needles are as thin as a strand of hair. You will feel little to no discomfort upon needle insertion.
Your practitioner will then leave the room, allowing you to rest or nap while listening to relaxing music. You can call the practitioner if you need help during this time. After a determined time (15-30 minutes), the needles will be removed. This step can be repeated.
